TO CASH in on the tennis season, TVS Motor Company has signed a one-year agreement with Wimbledon organiser, the All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC), that grants TVS status of official licensee for the Wimbledon tournament. In wake of the deal, TVS will launch two limited editions of its Scooty Pep+ coinciding with the start of Wimbledon 2008, on June 23. Called the Wimbledon Class and Wimbledon Xtreme, the special edition scooters are designed to exude the Wimbledon spirit. The Class will come in pristine white with purple and green stripes. The Xtreme meanwhile will sport fire engine red livery and tennis oriented graffiti.

The company has planned a limited run of 10,000 units for the scooters. Buyers will get a complementary ScootyWimbledon sweat shirt and sporty sling bag. The scooters will cost an extra Rs 1599 over the regular model.
