i 10 ZONE
HYUNDAI Motors has certainly got it right with its latest small car - the i10. In just over six months, the i10 has sold over 1,00,000 units across 98 countries. That's not counting the good numbers it's doing in India every month. Now the Korean car maker is introducing a 1.2-litre engine (codenamed Kappa) in the small car. Expected in July, the new heart will add more zeal to the already nippy drive that is i10 offer but what will change the game is the 1.1 CRDi engine
that Hyundai will fit into the i10 in the near future. Available in Europe currently, the diesel variant sells more than the petrol version. The story might just be the same for India too where diesel is gaining popularity.
