Land Rover
IT'S called the Festival of Speed, so yes may wonder why the featured marque at Goodwood's most famous motoring event is Land Rover. But when Ford
- Land Rover's previous owners - bought the iconic brand way back in 1994, it sanctioned Land Rover's expensive presence at the Goodwood three-day evem which will include a huge metal sculptor featuring its vehicles positioned in front of Goodwood House, the ancestral hone of the Earl of March. And by the time the festival kicks off on July 11, Land Rover, which also completes its 60th annive this year, will have become a subsidiary its new owner from India - Tata Motors.
Land Rover aside, the Festival promises the usual huge selection of fast cars and bikes, old and new. Celebs wiN include F1 star Lewis Hamilton. Better make plans to get to Goodwood!
