The Korean manufacturer’s latest offering for India. And what’s more we got it before the rest of the world. If you think that’s special let us tell you so is this car. Just slightly bigger than the Santro, the much better and smarter looking i10 has everything to further build on the success of its sib¬ling. To start with, it’s so much better looking, with sharper styling and more rakish and well crafted lines. It has a similar sized but slightly more eager and smoother engine, and an even better gear shifter that is innovatively positioned through the dash. It also has brighter and better finished interiors, easy controls, a good ride, and lots of features including ABS, airbags, sunroof, etc. And of course it’s agile, and dynamically sound with predictable steering and handling. But on versions without ABS the brakes feel overeager with modulation being difficult due to long pedal travel and uneven pressure applications.
