The first impression of the Logan is that it’s really wide and it’s obvious from the largely flat panels that it’s a simple cost-effective design. The interior, though Spartan and dull is most spacious and has an airbag. It is powered by a 1.5 common rail diesel and a 1.6-petrol. The diesel is not the most powerful one around but it’s fairly smooth and ade¬quate with the fuel efficiency being astonishingly good. The 1.6 sounds coarse and delivers much less than expected. On the road it feels extremely solid.
