The Lancer is a very competent, reliable, well-built mid-size: that can still compete with more modern machinery. The emphasis is on value for money and decent equipment ieveis rather than fancy gadgetry. Choices of engines include two petrols: a 1.5 and a 1.8 with auto option. There is also a two-litre diesel that's obviously older gen and isn't a stormer like some of the newer oil-burners. Handling, given the rallying -pedigree that the Lancer has, is still very impressive, though ride quality is now bettered by some of its rivals.
