Speaking on the occasion, CK Birla, Chairman, Hindustan Motors Ltd. said: "We have launched the Outlander in India, in keeping with the policy of offering -the latest. From the Mitsubishi stable to Indian consumers." The Outlander's All Wheel Control (AWC) is powered by a 2.4-litre, 16 valve MIVEC (Mitsubishi Innovative Valve Timing petrol engine. The car develops 170bhp @ 6000rpm and a torque of 226Nm @ 4100rprn.The SUV costs Rs 20.20 Iakhs. (ex showroom across the country).
