Its been here long and has seen many changes in its lifetime. The latest being the new Dicor 2.2.VTT engine, which has rejuvinated it. The Safari is finally no slouch on the road and has a powerplant that does not let it down. Its the best ever variant of the Safari and though a petrol option is available, its best to stick to the new 2.2 diesel. Ride quality and space remain the Safari's biggest strengths and interiors are also nicer with many modern features. But the handling yet continues to be lazy and boatlike.
